Nestled in the quiet Virginia countryside is one of the best kept golfing secrets south of the Mason Dixon line...The Danville Golf Club. This private club was founded in 1916 by E. H. Miller, Sr., Dr. Julian M. Robinson, W. R. Fitzgerald, James Seegar, and E. Howe Miller, M.D.
The Club has traditionally offered first-class service to its members and golf that is nothing short of excellence. The golf course was designed by legendary architect Donald Ross and remains an outstanding test for golfers of all skill levels.
The course attracts major tournaments such as the State Open, the State Amateurs and the State Junior Championships as well as the Virginia Ladies' Championship. The Club and golf course are widely recognized as one of Virginia's oldest and most prestigious clubs.
